What we refer to as "Stomp/Knockdown" Texture is actually the same as "Crows Feet(Stomped)" only with one additional step. After the basic Crows Feet(Stomped) application is complete, a "Knockdown Knife", which is a large flexible hand trowel, is used to smooth out the high spots and leaves behind a less jagged appearance.
